Phases of the Project

 

 

1st year of the project

1.1.

Reading and explanatory analyses of a common text in all schools ;

1.2.

Selection of the most important moments in the text ;

1.3.

Illustration of the above mentioned moments ;

Exchanging of illustrations between schools (3 collections).

2.1.

Analyses of the collections of illustrations received ;

2.2.

Construction of a supporting text, for each illustration collection ;

Exchanging of texts between schools.
Each school receives six texts, having then nine different texts.

 

 

2nd year of the Project

3.1. Analyses of various texts present in each school, now associated with the respective illustrations ;
3.2. Raising of similarities and differences between the various texts, in terms of their narrative (context space-time, characters, the responsibles for the actions, characterisation, etc) ;

3.3.

Comparasion of the information collected, with the texts being the originals ;

3.4.

Debate about the values/attitudes , inherent to each text ;

3.5.

Correspondance between schools, developing an elaborate debate about values/attitudes ;

3.6.

Synthesis of the division made

4.

Elaboration :

*  of a multi-lingual book, using existing material ;

3rd year of the Project

5.1.

Elaboration of the presentation guides of the three texts selected (by each school) using other forms of expression :

** Theatre / Video

** Slides and music of the composers of the country

** Cartoons - winners of the school context

5.2.

The completion of the guides .

 

6.

Presentation of the work to the school community:

** Retrospective exhibition of the significant moments and of the methodological process ;

** Presentation of the completed guides ;

 

7.

An elaboration of a CD'Rom presenting the entire Project.
